My roommate has just told me that she's moving out on September 1st. Things have worked out really well with her so far, but she's moving in with a friend of hers.
So I got alot to worry about with 3 part time jobs on the go right now, starting school in September, and needing to find a roommate.

I just started my new job today, working at a recycling center and making used and broken electronics miraculously come back to life. The pay is 100% commission and I get 40% of what I manage to sell whatever I fix. It's a lame deal but there's not alot going in the way of jobs down here right now.

So if there's anyone out there in Vancouver who is looking to move, upgrade or downgrade their apartment. Now is the time to do it! $475/mo + utilities, to share a beautiful and luxurious basement suite with a red dragon, a small python and a 3 foot lizard. It took a week and a half to make, and now it's done, I can focus my creative energies on art!

It's mah birthday today!! I'm excited, hopefully good stuff happens. There's some fireworks going on in Vancouver tonight which is always fun, and we're having this crazy heatwave 35'C.
I really want to finish alot of pictures that I've started, but things are too busy lately.
Hopefully they settle down in the next few weeks.
I'm trying to plan a road trip across much of western Canada in the next two or three weeks. I could stop by and visit dragony people if you're in my flightpath!

...being bled dry even paying the cheapest rent in the city shared between two people on a one bedroom apartment.

What's the solution?

I'm actually going to build my own house on free land! I've started a blog chronicling my progress.

These tiny houses are cheap to build, are too small to be taxed or applicable to building code, and look like alot of fun to build and to live in!
