I hope I've given enough info here to give an introduction. I know there are a few omissions with vector lines and stuff. I'm going to do another tutorial on some more coloring and shading methods when I have time.

Nice job man, one suggestion I would make is to make the text a little bigger ^^; don't worry about having a larger file size if u make it bigger. If you look at many of the tutorials out there it takes a long time to load cause they make the file so big. Great tutorial though :D

Thanks. I was a bit worried about the font size, but I had to fit it all the text in. Paint Shop Pro 7 really won't do vector lines. You can get a 30 day trial from their website. Anyways, I hope this tutorial helps, and psp9 is really worth looking into.

Thanks. I'll make the font size bigger in future, but it would take ages to modify it because of how I did the text boxes. Hope you can read enough of it tho :)

thanks for this I usually just make a new layer over the orginal and paint with the paintbrush in the lines (I use Photoshop) then for every color/ shading definition I make a new layer... on "us in color" I had something like 60 layers when I was done. maybe this will save me time with very opeque colors in many layers!!! yup, yup a fave!!!
